In late September, the Colorado Springs community came together for Oktoberfest 2025 at the Western Museum of Mining and Industry, and our team was thrilled to be part of it. For three days, we set up a booth where we could engage with the community, share a little fun, and raise awareness around criminal defense and DUI topics. The weekend was full of laughter, games, and conversations that reminded us why we love serving Colorado Springs and representing those who need a Criminal Defense lawyer in Colorado Springs.

Our firm came prepared to make the experience interactive and memorable. Our booth featured a variety of firm swag, including tote bags, rubber duckies, sunglasses, sunscreen, and other items that festival-goers could win by spinning our prize wheel. We also hosted a trivia game focused on the justice system in Colorado. The trivia game was a hit and gave attendees a fun way to learn and talk about legal topics, especially those related to DUI Defense in Colorado.

Adding to the Oktoberfest spirit, Attorney Tim Lindstrom embraced the celebration by wearing Lederhosen throughout the weekend while discussing legal system basics with visitors in a relaxed and approachable setting. Everyone who stopped by was engaged and enthusiastic, and the booth stayed lively and welcoming all weekend. Community engagement is something we truly value, and events like this allow us to build relationships beyond the office and strengthen our community outreach in Colorado Springs.

One of the highlights of the weekend was our “Test Your BAC” activity. Guests who wanted to participate first went through a Standardized Field Sobriety Test (SFST), which our attorneys are trained to conduct. After that, Attorney Lindstrom guessed their Blood Alcohol Content (BAC). Once he made his guess, we used our own breathalyzer to confirm the actual BAC. His predictions were remarkably accurate, with only two noticeably off while the rest were extremely close! This activity gave visitors a firsthand look at how BAC testing works and opened conversations about what happens after a DUI arrest in Colorado. It also allowed us to talk about DUI penalties in Colorado in an educational and approachable way, without pressure or legal advice.

The weekend was more than games and giveaways. It was an opportunity to connect directly with the Colorado Springs community, raise awareness about criminal defense and DUI topics, and offer educational experiences that left attendees with both a smile and valuable information. Seeing people participate, learn something new, and walk away feeling more informed reinforced why we do what we do as Colorado Springs DUI attorneys.

All in all, Oktoberfest 2025 was a fantastic experience. We left with new connections, fun memories, and a renewed appreciation for our local community. We cannot wait to return next year and continue celebrating, educating, and connecting with the people of Colorado Springs as Lindstrom Law Colorado Springs. We hope to see you next year!
